Tracy Hines of New Castle, Ind. is now third in the 2010 USAC National Drivers Championship standings after winning Saturday night’s “JEGS Crown Midget Supernationals” at Columbus, Ohio. Hines is seven points ahead of Jerry Coons Jr., who did not improve his point total after finishing fifth. Levi Jones trails Bryan Clauson by 22 points in the latest USAC National Drivers Championship standings, which were affected slightly by Saturday’s USAC Silver Crown Championship race results from Terre Haute, Ind. Jones won the “Sumar Classic 100” at Terre Haute and sliced 11 points off Clauson’s lead in the process despite Clauson’s second-place finish in the race.
